With over 25 years of experience as a restaurant owner/operator and management, Jay understands how to create compelling restaurant concepts and run great restaurants. He has opened and
operated 18 full service restaurants.
During his career Jay has shared responsibility for design, construction and operation of restaurants such as the Drawing Room, Salud Tequila Lounge, Bow and Stern Oyster Bar, Cans Bar & Canteen in Chicago, Milwaukee, Charlotte and most recently The Mixx, The Jacobson, and Jalapeños in the Kansas City market. These are places known for their food, service and innovative concepts.
Jay’s greatest expertise lies in his ability to nurture concepts from
the idea to the efficient and profitable day-to-day operation. With his
vast experience in restaurant operations, design and construction, Jay can add the seasoned perspective necessary for
successful execution of any project.
